MSDE Credit

The Maryland State Department of Education will award three Continuing Professional Development Experience (CPDE) credits to REACTS participants who attend a day-long follow-up session at some time in the future. At
this session teachers will present a 15-20 minute plan in the 5-E format (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate) to their fellow teachers. This plan must reflect something you teach this year and should relate to the focus topic you attended at the REACTS Conference.

MSDE credit cannot be earned during school/work hours by 10 and 12-month professional staff unless personal or annual leave is requested. Professional leave is excluded. A copy of your approved leave form must accompany your MSDE Division of Certification and Accreditation, CPDE Credit Form, which you will receive upon completion of the follow-up.
