What: Free Public Lecture: Physics for All

Have you ever wondered how your GPS always knows exactly were you are? Or how
scientists search for life on other planets?  Come out this Friday evening to learn the answers
to these questions and more with Physics Nobel Laureates Dr. William D. Phillips [1] and
Dr. John C. Mather [2]

Reception and poster session afterwards featuring the Walt Whitman Jazz Combo

Where: Edward St. John Learning and Teaching Center [3], University of Maryland, College Park.
Parking is free after 4 pm at Regents Garage, and other locations on campus.[4]
